There is a lot in the story of Dante and Vanessa。 There is tension between strong alpha men and tough heroines。 The further you get into their story， the more twists and turns you experience with them。 The chemistry and attraction was clearly palpable between them and you lived with them step by step and also the insight into their relationship。 Not to mention the hot and steamy scenes and some triggers。I received an Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。

4。5 stars！ If you dance with the Devil prepare to Sin！ Savage Little Games os the first installment in Lane Hart's Sin City Mafua Series and can be read as standalone。 I had never read mafia genre from this author and I was happily surprised！ A slow burn， different from the usual and very much enticing， with lots of anticipation and as much resistance， a pendulum between desire， want， wills and internal conflict as contasting feelings。 Dante had his eyes set for some time on the woman waitressin 4。5 stars！ If you dance with the Devil prepare to Sin！ Savage Little Games os the first installment in Lane Hart's Sin City Mafua Series and can be read as standalone。 I had never read mafia genre from this author and I was happily surprised！ A slow burn， different from the usual and very much enticing， with lots of anticipation and as much resistance， a pendulum between desire， want， wills and internal conflict as contasting feelings。 Dante had his eyes set for some time on the woman waitressing in his casino， the only one that wouldn't give him the time of the day， that simply wouldn't care。 A challenge to the man used to have everything at his feet？ Certainly。 Her beauty， fierceness and blase attitude were like a rubik cube， twisting here and there and he wasn't near to direct her attention。 Vanessa worked at the casino and dealt every single day with powerful men， those above and beyond， those you treated with education as well as polite distance if you wanted to keep your heart and mind intact。 I loved the premise of the story and it was to expect some kind of manipulation on Dante's part to get what he wanted。 And he did。。。just not the way he thought or how much of an adversity Vanessa would pose。 She warned him。。。。。。Energetic， funny and immensely decadent in its intimate moments， the tale flowed to the pace of advances and setbacks with Dante's ensnarement， a great deal of banterlust， familial rebellion and turf attacks for usurpation。 It's a big book with ingenious detail where it matters， twists and turns and the utmost revelation that certainly changes things and adresses the past as much。 Their entanglement did come as did their last battle for supremacy and reign supreme。 For now， Vegas undeground runs steady， smoothly and serene， but a Letter came in the mail。。。。。。Great narrative， great protagonists， great secondaries and a lot more to uncover！Really excited for the next one！ 。。。more

The premise of this book is an indecent proposal between Dante， a mob boss and casino owner and Vanessa， one of his cocktail waitresses。 Dante is a dominant alpha-hole male who is a pretty bad man and used to getting his way， while Vanessa is powerful in her own right and has a spark that clashes with the version of a woman that Dante is used to and maybe thinks he prefers。 He finds out quickly that’s not true。The story is fast-paced and a lot of fun。 Dante is pretty abhorrent in the beginning o The premise of this book is an indecent proposal between Dante， a mob boss and casino owner and Vanessa， one of his cocktail waitresses。 Dante is a dominant alpha-hole male who is a pretty bad man and used to getting his way， while Vanessa is powerful in her own right and has a spark that clashes with the version of a woman that Dante is used to and maybe thinks he prefers。 He finds out quickly that’s not true。The story is fast-paced and a lot of fun。 Dante is pretty abhorrent in the beginning of the book due mostly to the ultimatum that he gives Vanessa but the sexual harassment in the workplace doesn’t help。 I guess that it’s acceptable though because everyone is afraid of him。 Vanessa is a likable and sympathetic character。 I loved her attitude。 She doesn’t let Dante give her any sh*t。 And it turns out Dante is a gentleman when it comes to the sexual nature of their relationship， well except for the pretty brutal sexual punishment in the middle of the book that does not seem warranted。 Some people will enjoy this and that’s ok！ It just seemed pretty uncharacteristic of him based on his treatment of Vanessa during the rest of the book。 I did also find it surprising that Vanessa just took it based on her character。 While Dante’s behavior is on and off acceptable， a question you ask throughout the book is why did Vanessa hate Dante before the ultimatum？ Could it really just be based on the propositions he makes while she’s working？ I didn’t think so and we soon find out that there is more to it。There was a little bit of action and less suspense in areas where those moments could have been exploited but there was also a surprising plot twist that I thought made up for that。 I did want to read more about the week that Vanessa spends with her dad because that seemed pretty significant。 And it is a big surprise when we find Kozlov in the basement。 I actually went back to make sure I didn’t skip any pages。 He is a major enemy so I would have liked to know how that comes about。 I think that these and other events at the end of the book felt a bit rushed and glossed over。 This could have been avoided by making the book a bit longer。 I especially would have liked it if more time was spent on the culminating event。 But it was overall a very satisfying book。 And the plot twist at the end of the book！ This is why I like to read a series after it is finished！！。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

SAVAGE LITTLE GAMES is full of spice and suspense。 This is not for the faint hearted and as such was a real page turner for me。 Between the protective/possessive Dante， feisty Vanessa， “never-a-dull-moment” plot， and creative mafia punishments， I really loved the book and would read the next one in the series in a heartbeat。I received an advance review copy for free， and I am leaving this review voluntarily。

Savage Little Games is the first book in the Sin City Mafia series。 As a huge fan of Lane Hart and D。B。 West's books， I thought this one would be like their other books。 It is not。 Lane Hart wrote this one on her own and did a phenomenal job with character and storyline development。 It differs from her other books yet has the same grit and appeal。Despite having fifty-two chapters plus an epilogue， I read the book without putting it down。 This is due to how well the story is constructed。 Lane Har Savage Little Games is the first book in the Sin City Mafia series。 As a huge fan of Lane Hart and D。B。 West's books， I thought this one would be like their other books。 It is not。 Lane Hart wrote this one on her own and did a phenomenal job with character and storyline development。 It differs from her other books yet has the same grit and appeal。Despite having fifty-two chapters plus an epilogue， I read the book without putting it down。 This is due to how well the story is constructed。 Lane Hart creates a very believable world and characters。 Both are compelling and gritty。 The characters are incredibly endearing。 Dante and Vanessa are badasses you root for in their best and darkest moments。 Eli was one of my favorites。 As depraved as he is， you cannot miss that he is intelligent and loyal despite his circumstances。 There are also a couple of smooks you cannot feel sorry for， and you might wish for their end to come。 Savage Little Games has a lot of action， some intensely steamy romance， suspense， a lot of drama， a few surprises， including the ending， and a lot of mafia-style revenge。 You will not want to put down this book， as it captures you from page one。 I cannot wait for book two， Ruthless Little Games， Dante's daughter， Sophie， and his rival， Lachlan's story。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

This was…。 A rollercoaster 🎢It was a bit slow at first。。 the first 30% or so， but it does pick up and it gets so much better！Not a huge fan of the cliffhanger ending， but otherwise really enjoyed this read！ Looking forward to the next in the series！I received an advance review copy for free， and I am leaving this review voluntarily
